diy: kenya e-visa application
The Directorate of Immigration Services In Kenya launched their E-visa platform which allows visitors to apply for the Republic of Kenya E-visa online without having to visit a Kenyan diplomatic mission. The authorization document is issued in PDF format and is presented to the immigration officers at the point of entry who then endorses it on the holder's passport.
The Single Entry Visa is valid for travel within 3 months from the date of issue
Application steps
Go to their website - https://accounts.ecitizen.go.ke/register/visitor and Create an account.
Click on E-visa Application
Fill Application form (be careful not to make any mistakes when filling in your details)
Pay Using Visa Card, Mastercard and other debit or credit cards.
Await approval then download and print the eVisa from your eVisa account.
Present your printed eVisa to the immigration officer at the port of entry.

- hotel reservation
- Flight reservation (not compulsory)
Payment
The cost for a single entry visa is $55 (Visa fee and bank charges) .
Please note that your Naira debit cards will not work. Use a card tied to your domiciliary account or virtual cards from https://mustard.ng or Barter card from flutterwave.
After approval, you can download your E-visa and you’re good to go
